Labour Booking
The Time Collector Labour
Booking Module allows the recording of time spent by employees on specific jobs,
operations, activities, inactive codes or cost centres. The system automatically
accounts for breaks, and jobs that run over from one shift to another. The user
can view the collected data from either the person's perspective (i.e. what
has this person done) or a job or operation or activity perspective (i.e. how
much time has been spent on this activity and by whom). The Labour Booking Module
allows the user to:
Set-up the system
- Job Code maintenance.
- Automatic Job and Operation creation on first
use
- Set a limit to the amount of idle time (the
time between the end of one job and the start of the next) that can be refined
to jobs.
- Automate the collection of time booked.
- Automate collection of time worked via swipe
readers and external hand-held bar code readers.
Create Supervisor Entries
- Create, modify and logically delete Labour
Bookings. (Due to the audit features of Time Collector
, employee transactions are never physically deleted, they are ignored)
Produce Reports and Extracts
- Employee Jobsheet (details of jobs and operations
worked on each day per employee)
- Daily Analysis Report (details of each employee's
time booked by day for each job and operation)
- Labour Summary Report (total time booked by
all employees within any given date range. Report details may be for each
Job Code with totals produced for each sub-division of Code)
- Labour Booking Extract (flat file output of
job costing details for use by external systems)
- Work In Progress Extract (flat file output
of the Labour Booking transactions for use by external systems)
