Time Collector™ can provide building access control using the same employee badges as those used for recording time and attendance. Access can be controlled through gates, barriers or doors for all employees, groups or specified individuals.
Doors controlled by Time Collector™ require a data collection terminal, with the option of an external swipe reader, with associated door lock hardware. The information relating to access permission is held in the battery backed memory of the terminal. This ensures that access control is not compromised should Time Collector™ become unavailable due to network or PC failure.
